So Mel turned 29.... Yikes, I am next. My last year in my twenties..... That sucks doesn't it? Naw I am ok with it. So is Mel it seemed like. Infact I have never seen him so happy with his new girlfriend both in love. Everyone was relieved that Mel's new girlfriend is a funloving young lady. Cause we ALL worry about Mel at times. We went to Heroes in Downtown Fullerton to celebrate Mel's birthday. I really love that part of the city. Downtown Fullerton. I went a little early and walked around the downtown. Check out the images of this fantastic place.
I have many fond memories in down town Fullerton. Not just memories of being stupid drunk and acting goofy. But real memories of events and occurances. Like the time Hoon and Mel chased after girls at Stubricks... Or Taking my friend Julia to downtown Bar and grill.(that was our last meal together) Hanging out at the train station either with friends or by myself. Or the make out parking building. It is a strange little part of town where you see all walks of life. They have the vintage store and the comic book store. They have a sporting good store and even a British food market.(like their food is any good) How about the British pub, The Olde Ship that prince Charles once visted. They offer pints of Boddington's or Tetley with other british ales for your taste buds to enjoy.
Two great beers that I can't really drink any more. Or you can go listen to live jazz at Steamer's Cafe. Also there is a Blue's bar called Stubricks, where they have fantastic steaks and cheap qulity drinks. They have alternative Coffee shops where scummy people hang out like the hub or MacClain's coffee or like me, you can just go to Starbucks. They have a fancy French Restaurant called the Cellar which is the only 4 star French restaurant in Orange County. Yes I have much pride about Fullerton. I really loved living there. La Palma is nice cause it is close to all the Korean places and Church. Other than that, you can't beat Fullerton. I appreciate Fullerton cause it does not claim to be anything special and yet it is. Did you know that Fullerton has the most Millionaires in OC. Lot of old money. Yeah I probably like it cause I have so much memories there. Though I reminisce about old times, I never want to live like I did in the past. That is the irony of it all. But I certainly miss my days of being wild.
