My Biggest Fear....

It's da working man's paradise! Da weekend is around da corner and I feel like a champ!

This morning on my way to work Dong and I had a conversation things we hate. Once again It reminded me of my biggest fear... My Laundry. I hate it. I see da pile growing and it sends chills down my spine....

Da Fevah : I hate doing da laundry.
Dong : me too. Especially folding.
Da Fevah : yeah....
Dong : I used to pay my sister 2 bucks to fold my clothes...
Da Fevah : hahahaha!
Dong : But I have laundry that I did not fold yet from last week.
Da Fevah : I feel you.
Dong : At my old house I would be hanging out with Susan and I would get my pile and watch TV while folding it real slow... And Susan would ask if I need help and I would be like "YES"!

Unfortunately, Da Fevette does not help me fold my clothes... In fact, while ago I folded her clothes for her and she got mad because I did not fold it right. Hahhahaa! What can I say... I am not good at things like that.

Talking about laundry, I have new neighbors that are Nepalese.

You know its that country with that funky flag...

Very pleasant people. SO I was doing the laundry and they came in while I was folding my clothes. The husband came with da wife because it was heavy. Than he saw me with great surprise as he saw me fold my clothes.
Nepal Dude : where did you learn that?
I was confused
Fevah : folding?
Nepal Dude : Yeah..
Fevah : I guess by living by myself, you learn these things.
Nepal wife : yes.. My husband does not even know how to do these things...
Fevah : I guess it's cultural.
Nepal dude : yes. I would not even know how to do this.
Fevah : yeah....
Nepal Wife : I saw your girl friend coming on my way here do you want me to get her for you?

I said it was not necessary.... But to her it was inconceivable that I (the man) was doing the
laundry while my girl friend was watching TV. May be I should have been born as a Napalese.... hahahaha!

A Message

Yesterday I got a fortune cookie and it was really different from all the other ones that I've ever had... I am convinced that it was a message from Him.

(if you can't read it, please click on picture)
So true. It is so easy to forget that at times... What a schmuck I am.
Lisa said the other day that it is so much easier to accept Christ as a savior, but so hard to accept Him as the Lord of your life. Just like it is easy to sin and ask for forgiveness but it is so hard to truly live out His natural order o' things. Just like it is easy to be discouraged and ask for help instead of always having confidence in the sovereign God.... Well I couldn't agree more. I am many times, so not capable of understanding Him being da Lord of Da Fevah's life.

Yesterday after B-ball, I talked with lil' Andy.

It was a good talk. Andy is someone that I really love. I love the fact that young'uns of CPC is stepping up to da plate and understanding such things that I was not capable of at their age. When I was Andy's age.... Oh boy... Andy truly wise beyond his age. Same goes to Jess Ku... Princess! I am proud of you after our talk the other day. I prayed for both of you.

Well Lord, I hear you loud and clear. Thank you for my life, Thank you for my opportunities, and thank you for always providing for me. You da bomb!

Reality TV shows vs. Fantasy Football

I don't like most of Garbage on TV. I just don't like it. Yesterday I was at Lisa's and had this talk with Lisa's roomate and her friend. Reality TV. I couldn't understand why so many people get suckered into those damn shows. I understand that it apeals to many of us in that we live this mundane life and we fill it with drama that da reality tv can fill it for many of us.... However, I even have a problem with the word to describe these show... "REALITY TV". Cause let me tell you, it certainly ain't real. It should be called fantasy tv. Of course being out numbered 3 girls to me, they compared reality tv to sports... Even worse... Fantasy Football....

Yup. They went there. They made good arguments about sports in general. That these people were grown people playing with made up rules and wanting to win something in the end. To a certain degree, its true. I can see why so many people are disinterested in sports. I truly can. But Reality TV? Oh boy... First off I don't like the fact that it is driven by shock value. It's sad that I sit there and watch these people eat cow anus for money. I don't like the content of these shows... I don't like the fact these shows promote lies. Like "these people were regular shmucks just like you and me". But look at these "Average Joes" succeed by being on TV doing ridiculous things...

How about the show with the back up quarterback sitting there while 40 women fight to see who gets to be "in love" with this dude. While he is sitting there he basically bangs these chicks. Its funny how they described it to me.

Everytime they go to knock da boots, it focuses into the candle... hahaha!

I just don't understand how the majority just gets consumed with madness. It's like the Republican party pulling a Jedi Mind trick on regular people of America. If you vote Repulican, than you are morally Okay! Cause obviously Abortion and Gay marriage is the only moral issues to worry about in this country.

Well silly Jedi mind trick won't work on Fevah da Hut. Cause you know.. Tricks are for kids.

Well I don't think you are horrible if you enjoy reality TV. Cause I do enjoy mindless things too. But when these show are the only things you guys talk about? Hmmm.... Sad... Reality Tv? It's like Jerry Springer Suped up on roids....

Random thoughts in Autumn

driving to work can be a long and lonely time.
I sit there and think of unnecessary stuff while listening to radio. I've been listening to NPR again. I love the background sound bites of NPR. It almost sounds rigged. If they are reporting about a rally or something, it sounds like some guy in the back room is shouting something. Love the stats and the interviews. I appreciate NPR for their efforts. Today they were talking about the season fall. as some of you might know, I am a...

Fall guy...

That is me. Da Fall guy. I love me the Korean autumn. Changing of da seasons is something that I do think about. Its nostalgic. I think of childhood you know. Oh yes. Korea is wonderful in the fall. The mountains look like they are on fire in da fall. It can get crisp. But I like that. Well All I can say is that I look forward to going to Korea. It is gonna be nice.

I am gonna take a gang of pictures. Well I am not leaving for some time. It should be great. Korea. I've only gone to Korea in da winter time recently. But I look really forward to da fall! Its been so long since I've seen da fall in da Motherland. Yeah.. It should be an experience.

Doldrums o' Life to City of God.
For some reason, I feel like life is going by to quickly with me having no fun. which totally offsets da whole "times going by fast when you are having fun". All the fun events seem like chores nowadays. I need better out look on things... I have had formal complaints about lack of substance on da Blog these days... What can I say. I am turning into a total bore. But not to worry. I have a feeling that Good times will be coming my way. That's right niggas! But meanwhile, I plan to watch many movie. Just saw a good one. City of God. A Brazillian flick. Le me tell you, that movie was off da hizzle.

It was absolutely inspiring for me.
Must watch good movies...

And I just bought tickets to go to Korea. I am going again. Back to da motherland! Lisa and I will be in Korea, blending in with da Fobs!
