So I've been hearing complaints lately that i've been too metro...

Well I did some manly thing yesterday. Yeah I worked on my car with Steve Hess from work. Getting dirty and sweaty. Grease all over! Tools were out, and music was loud. Classic rock! We did a tune up and changed my oil. Changed my rotor, caps and spark plugs. Steve I were talking to each other about manly stuff like hot chicks and beers and while smoking Winston Cigarrettes! How is that for manliness!

Steve really helped me out. Showing me how I can do all this by myself later. How much would a tune up and oil change cost? A lot! But all things were done under a hundred bucks. Just parts basically!

I am gonna buy him lunch and beer today.

But I am addicted to skin care products....
After turning in the oil to the recycle center I noticed that I had grease all over. I could not wait to come home and wash myself with neutrogena! after I used facial scrub, I felt a 100% better! (Dong! Don't knock it till you try it)

Hoon came over and scrubbed the other day and he loved it!

Yesterday I met with Pastor Jin(that's him up there) and he told me this....
"My wife thinks that good looking people tend to get away with things easier in life"

D. Fevah - hmmm... Probably true.
P. Jin - Also they tend to not use their brain.... Because they turn that part(thinking) off.
D. Fevah - Hence the dumb blondes....
P. Jin - Right.
D. Fevah - So am I smart?
P. Jin - REALLY smart!

P. Jin - Hahahhahahaha!

It is so true that good looking people just tend to get away with things more.

For instance if a good looking girl says something stupid, one tends to be more forgiving than when a ugly chick says it... But that is with guys and how they treat girls. Is it also true with girls? Are they more forgiving towards good looking men?

I remember my father telling my cousin when he first got a girl friend :
"Make sure you marry a pretty girl. Cause when a girl is ugly than the years of uglyness makes them bitter and they turn ugly inside too. They never get away with anything"

Yikes.....

Do good looking guys get away with stupidity too? Or better yet are good looking people dumb?

Or is it different between men and women.

What would you rather be?

Extremely good looking or extremely smart? can't have both... Cause not everyone can be like Da Fevah!

The return of the Prodigal Son

So Andy came back yesterday from Pittsburgh....

It was great to see him. Andy was getting tired of Pittsburgh I am sure. Andy and I talked on the phone since January and he hasn't seen me with my weight loss.

Andy said something strange....
"You are a completely different man from a year ago...."
He was refering to myself a year ago. Fatter, Lonlier, and angrier. I guess it is true... Cause Lisa has changed my life!
I've lost weight, and got me a woman... Never thought about it that way....

Well Andy is leaving again in 2 weeks.... To Fort Wayne, Indiana for an internship. Indiana... The fattest state in America. It's true.... On a average heaviest people are in that state. Even at my fattest, I was shrimp compared to some people there.... Yup Da Fevah has been to Indiana!

So I took the day off yesterday
It was nice. I forgot how nice it is to hang around during the weekday... There was a time that I did that everyday for about 6 months... Oh the days of unemployment.... Other than not having too much cash, those were truly the days to really enjoy. But here are somethings that I wonder about. I saw many people hanging out that were not students. Couples that were enjoying the day. People frolicking about having a grand old time... What the hell do they for a living? Its like when I was working at the mall. Here they were just going nuts at the mall and I always wondered "don't these people have jobs?"

Whatever these people do for a living that requires them to enjoy their life, I say "Sign me up!"

Than again.... What a whiner I can be....

Isn't it so sadistic that life can be just so difficult. Living life is one of the hardest jobs in the world. I was watching this thing on TV last night... It was a World Vision sponsored program. Julian, Lisa and I were watching this sponsored program on channel 18.

Julian works for World Vision. It was colored footages of Korea 50 some odds years ago....

Though I knew how tough it was for our parents generation, seeing these footages and seeing the sheer poverty that our parents generation faced, I was just so ashamed.... Yeah....
How dare I whine! You should have seen the footages. It was like seeing African footages now. I was so extremely thankful to my parents generation and the generation before.

So I had no idea that World Vision was started by a humanitarian pioneer Bob Pierce on September 22, 1950, in response to the needs of Korean War orphans. (that is him on top holding a Korean baby)

War causes awful things. The MOST terrifying things.... And yet here we are, at another war.

I won't be in the office today......

Yeah I am at home... Nothing to say really except that Joon and Joo's was pretty cool last night. Joon is one of my favorites out of Lisa's friends. Joon, You rock!

So I was not feeling too cool on Saturday. I got frustrated due to a certain event. Yeah.... All I can say is that Yahoo Maps betrayed me for the first time in a long time. But Hoon came over and well.... Anytime I see Hoon, I get a smile on my face. Hoon was very encouraging. So Hoon and I watched the Lakers dominate while Lisa fell asleep again. hahahaaha! Hoon and I went to TGIF and talked. While Hoon was eating he and I were talking about many different things and Hoon made me realize that I have many things to be so positive about in my life. Hoon is an awesome friend. We got in a subject of what Hoon was looking for and why he felt it was hard to find someone for him these days. I will not go into details about that but all I can say is that, Hoon will not be in the market forever so you girls better nab him while you can!

surprisingly Hoon's list of what he really wants was really simple. But I won't share. If you want to know, ask him. Hoon also shared how he envies my relationship with Lisa.....

Thanks Hoon. That was a great compliment to Lisa.

Hoon really showed me that I was in a great situation in my life.

It is so easy to rant off about what you want in a woman and all the qualities that they must have. I read so many of other peoples xanga entries including my past posts, and most singles get so detailed in what they want in the other sex. But as a LONG TIME single, I can share this with you. One day you will look back into your own entries and realize how stupid it really was. I know I do. Cause I know some people out there that really are impossible. They live in lala land. Fools that post pictures of celebrities up saying "Oh yeah... Rebecca romijn is available now and I am gonna get her!".... Get her to do what? All I can say is take a good look in the mirror. hahahahahaha!

SO what is it really that you are looking for? And how do you plan to get to know them when you see him/her.....
