Our pastor's wife Sujin

I went the Thursday night bible study last night. My first bible study with Jin. It was pretty good. I enjoyed it. Mike "da hardy har" Ha drove me there. It was Mike, Esther Chang, David Lee, and I. We had good discussions about this that and the other. It was good. After bible study, Sujin joined us for discussion. It was hilarious. She probably thinks I am a jack ass. Sujin is one of the most intersting person to talk to. She is so gullable. I was saying all these things and she took me so seriously. It was hilarious. I think it is her demeanor. She seriously had me rolling yesterday. We were all talking about our height and I told her I was 6. (As in 6 feet tall). she looked at me with the crazy look and said "you're 5 feet 6?" Hahahahaha! Jin thought I was 5 feet 10. and that is almost unacceptable but to think that she would belive that I was 5-6.... Hahahaha.
Than the subject of slang came up. she attempted to talk slang. It was funny. She said "I know some slang."
You see she is Canadian and she is articulate. She properly pronouces every word. Even in slang.
Here are two things that she said last night that just about killed me.
"you are not all that and a Bag of Chips"
"What The"
You hear these idioms and colloquialism and you don't think twice about it. But when they are said in articulated way, it is hilarious. I appreciate Sujin because, being cool is not her priority. She just is. You can't help it to laugh when she laughs. It is almost goofy yet there is a sense of honesty about it. You can see that she is sincere. Though she might be marching to her Canadian beat, her beat has not been corrupted by American mannerisms. I think Jin is a lucky man.

Cocky

Pastor Jin told me a while ago that his first impression of me was that he thought I was cocky. Moi? Cocky? Like some one who talks about him in third person? Like Da fevah don't play that. Or Fevah ain't mad at cha. I guess I do do that. Do you think I am cocky? Now that I think about it, don't answer that. May be I am just extremely confident. May be not. May be I love myself too much. Probably. I'll have to thank Pastor Jin for this constructive criticism.

Even if I have a bit of cocky tendencies to me. You know you love me. Don't deny it. If I was you I would love me too. haha.
Mixing in Business with pleasure.
Hahaha. How great is this. For Jonathan's wedding, I will be at dreaded San Francisco/Oakland. I just arranged my business meeatings for that week in SF. an on the weekend I will be at the wedding. hahaha. AHT paying for my way! hahahaha.
This reminds me of Hannibal from Da A team.

"I love it when a plan comes together"

Jonathan and Amanda....

Jonathan is one my really good friends from high school. He was the one friend that I had that went to Yale. Pretty cool guy. I went to Korea with him. Now he is getting married too. Crazy! well good for him. Amanda is really cool.

Going back to da A-team....

It was one of first shows that I watched when I first came to America. The crazy thing was that I was a fob and I did not know the difference b/t spanish and English. You know some shows you can watch the shows in spanish by pressing SAP button. Well I watched that show in Spanish all the time. Before the show starts, they would say in spanish "Simplemente oprima el button S A P" The great thing about watching it in spanish is that in the intro music they tell you thier names. you here "Horhe Peppard es Hannibal! Senor Tey es Bay Ahh Barracus!" I thought that was how all american shows were. I did not know what SAP button was! I was a Fob! What a dork.

My New Obsession

How great is the show 24? I love it. I absolutely love the twist. There are very few tv shows that I get hooked on. Currently I am watching season two of 24.

I finshed season one last week. (I borrowed from my pal Al)

Due to my injured back(thanks to Hoon), I spent all day watching season 2 of 24. It's da bomb. I thought season 1 was da bomb(and it was). But season 2 is even better.
Playmakers

Yeah so the only other TV show I watch now is Playmaker. Another great show about football. alot of the show's contenets are based on real NFL player's lives.

My favorite guy is the Linebacker, Eric Olczyk.
It is an awesome show and I can't stop watching it either. This is what happens when you get to certain age. You watch these shows and get hook on them. tonight they are having a playmaker marathon. Pretty cool! One intersting thing about two shows. Kiefer Sutherland(24) and the Linebacker dude Jason Matthew Smith(playmaker) are Christians. Interesting........

Loser!

I was the loser yesterday. Yeah I lost in every thing I possibly can. First the Dolphins lost to the Patsies.

Stupid Orlindo Mare missed 2 field goals. It was like watching Ace Ventura and Ray Finkle.... Laces out.
Than I got creamed by Hoon and fantasy football.

Yeah... None of my players did well.

So I quickly forgot about the NFL and went to play that football scrimage against Newlife. It was the most frustrating scrimage to date. I was just frustrated cause I could not help the situations. Don't get me wrong. Yours truely was killing fools yesterday. I had many many decleations yesterday.

Walter once said that watching me hit people is like Super Mario Bro. when Mario gets the star and the goombas bounce off of Mario. Not to brag or nuthin', But I am good at this game and I seriously felt invincible yesterday. Until.... Hoon ran over me. His own/best blocker he has. It was a quarter back run play. I pulled and ran over a Corner back. It was perfect. There was a huge hole. But instead of going through that huge hole, Hoon ran right into me.... I turned around after I decleated the corner back and I saw Hoon's face, and I saw the fire in his eyes... My thought at that time was "Shiyeeet". You see when I run over fools, I am hitting them. Since it was hoon I just stood there and Hoon ran right into me. So my back is hurting me now and I might be done for the season. God has humbled me again. Taking away the one ability I have in sports. I hope I feel better and play but the state that I am in right now.... I am not sure. Yeah we sucked yesterday. Some people who shall remain nameless played like a bunch of girls yesterday. I was standing in the side line when I witnessed our defense give a long play. Our D played well except giving up this ridiculous long pass. I just said "Losers!" Than Joe chong heard me and said "you are gonna be in heaven with those guys too." I think Joe thought I said that to the other team. But I was pissed off by this point and was annoyed by what he said. I yelled out "What?" and than I realized that Joe and I had a communication error. So my bad Joe for getting on you.

Biggest losers.

Now this is the biggest disgrace of all. Korea lost the friggin Vietnam in soccer. Sure it was our B-team. Sure all of our best players are in Europe. But Vietnam? I think this was the first time in history. LOSERS! What a disgrace. Shame shame shame!

I just couldn't win yesterday. Sucks.
Greg hyung's wedding

Greg hyung is one of the old school Blue Note hyungs. He got married on saturday. Paul Pyo organized the after party and needless to say that it was a drunken fest that would put a shame to most of the other drunken madness parties. Oh yes, people were drunk. Starting from the Groom all the way down to the MC and da DJ. Yes people were drunk. Needless to say that the Bartender was also gone. The father and the brother of da Groom? Gone. So as I was witnessing this madness called reception/after party, I realized I was forced to drink by many of the hyungs from da past. Not to mention the knuckle heads called my Friends. Since they were all my drinking buddies from Da Past, I drank too. But I was ok. Through out the day I had about 12 shots and couple of mixed drinks. But since I once held the heavy weight championship belt of drinking, I paced myself and I was ok. I drank but I was one of 2 people there that was not drunk. Ate a grip of food and I came home. One of the crazy things that I witnessed was the traditional feet beating. People paid money and teed off on greg's feet. yes it was absolutely aweful. People lined up to beat on Greg's feet. It was bad. I fely bad for him but I think he made some money from it.
