I heard this quote from 2 different people yesterday on 2 different occations.
Nayif Abdullah and Jeff Kim. It deals with temptations. I thought it was a great quote. But its got nothing to do with what I want to talk about today.

I was walking around in South Coast Plaza yesterday and there he was. Nayif Abdullah is someone I went to high school with. The only guy that was in Wrestling and Football all four years with me. Nayif grew up a Muslim. In high school he became a Christian. Nayif and I was talking about this that and the other. He is from Jordan and he is half Palestinian.

We talked about how strange it is that there are such strong hatred for the Arab world. Nayif being a Christian and having the Palestinian heritage realizes that hatred for either Jewish and the Muslim is wrong. Have compassion for both right?

We are not talking about the holocaust or the WWII.... But we all talking about walling in a group of people in one place.... What the hell is that? Walling in a group of Palestinians.... How can you support that? When you start walling in a group of people..... One should think about that and say, hmmmmmm.... Is that right?

One of the reasons why I stopped listening to Christian radios all together is because of such strong conservative views and blatant siding against the Palestinians. Not just Christian radio, but also others like Rush Limbaugh, that one guy something Savage and such..... They create panic when it is absolutely not necessary. People are either great influencer or easily influenced.... So if one has great influence over people, they should really think about what they say...... But they just talk crap... It's like the Nazis... Hitler took advantage of people while they were down. Extremely oppressed people are looking for hope. Germans were extremely oppressed after WW1 Hitler saw the perfect opportunity to do his thing.... What a great opportunity for us Christians to show the Palestinians the Love of Christ.... But nope. We bash them. Why is it that so many Christians just don't see the facts? Yes we should have great relationships with the Jews.... But we should also have a great relationships with Palestinians. Sadly.... It's Mostly the Americans. Yes.. It is true. We are the leading haters of many people..... We Christians.... Are sometimes the worst at hating...

I want to sail beyond the sunset

I am so looking forward to my vacation..... Where am I going? Iono.... But whether it is by sailing or flying, I want to go. I want to go and just forget about what is on my plate for couple of weeks. I want to be somewhere where I don't see any of my current day problems.... I want to just get the hell outta here and forget my existence for about 2 weeks... I don't want to worry, I don't want to fret, I just want to be....

This morning, I was driving to work and a strange thought popped up in my head.

"Life is too short for me to not pursue what I want in life!"

So what do I want? I certainly don't want to be working at AHT for rest of my life......

Da Fevah would say "I Had a dream!" See the difference? Have and Had?

I want my dream still... So with no hesitation, I decided that I will follow after my dream..... I am going to be here at AHT till new product launches and see how that goes... But I will never do sales again after AHT. I am going to be someone that can be happy with what he does....

I am gonna pursue....

Pharasee in me?

Are we a bunch of Pharasees? As Fou-Sen and I were going over the chapters 22 - 23 in the book of Matthew this morning, a strange thought came to my mind..... All of us are some what of Pharasee's.... How sad is that? We are all just hypocrites..... What is worse is that we even have Christ to cover our sins. We grew up learning about the Grace of God... Unlike Pharasee's we have Christ to resurrect with.... But the behavior wise, and philsophically we tend to be Pharasaical in our words and actions. Which I feel might be even worse, given the fact that we have grace....

So I leave you with this song....

It was an awesome dinner.....

Instead of playing basketball I ate dinner with Lisa. She made me portbello mushroom steak and Salmon.... Mmmmmm. Yup. We did celebrate our 2 months yesterday. Nothing official. It was just a nice evening.

But I found evidence that she has been cheating on me.....

She broke the news to me after the dinner.....

Da Fevah - No way man. I am sure that Albert(her boyfriend) is all romantic, but I am not gay like that!

I am a Christian Democrat

Last night I hung out with Lisa, Billie. And Jason. A discussion came up about politics. Many things were said and it was interesting. But one thing that keeps popping up is the reason why so many Christians say they are Republicans.... They are pro-life. Some of you might know that I am a Democrat. The first thing that Christians usually bring up is the fact that they cannot support abortion.

Our conversation on our first date. (If I remember correctly)
Lisa : I am very liberal in my thinking, but conservative in practice.
Da Fevah : Hmmm... Interesting. When it comes to my theology and my core being, I think I am pretty conservative. But I am very liberal in practice...
Lisa : I would be a Democrat but I cannot support abortion.

I have heard this many times in mylife....
I can see why Lisa feels that way about it. Personally, as a Democrat and a Christian, I truly see abortion as one of the most awful things in this world.... It is an ultimate act of irresponsibility and cruelty.... With that said, I truly feel that I feel that way because I am a Christian. Because of my faith, I have a conviction that tells me that I do not ever want to be part of anything so heinous as abortion. However, how can I instill that thought and my conviction upon some one else, when they do not have the same beliefs and convictions?

We are all human and without Christ, just worthless sinners. So how is abortion different from any other sins? Though I see abortion as an awful and terrible thing, I see many things within me, that can be just as bad or even worse. Though I hate the act, I cannot really tell someone without thinking about how bad I am first.... I am such the sinner.... But Christ is with me. I was reminded on past Sunday that I resurrected with Christ. All the things that struggle with this life, I have faith that Jesus can help me.

So on Saturday, Lisa made Sea Food Pasta! Mmmmmm.... It was da bomb! Al, Hoon and I ate it up! It was Terrific!

It was a nice day. I helped out with the wedding on Sat. I was the money collector!
Yup I was at this table with some random chic collecting money and the gifts...... Vivian looked beautiful and Mike was very handsome... So handsome we all had to give the groom a kiss...


Notice : Hoon and Hen are pretending but I am the only one really kissing him... hahaha.

Of course I had to hide away so I can find a place to smoke. Henry followed me and took a snap shot of me while I was smoking.....

Later the security guard asked me to leave that area cause it was residential area. I had to find yet another place to smoke....


It was a good weekend. Hoon, Lisa and I watched Gothika on Sat. night. Lisa was scared.... What a wuss. Hahaha.

It was a great Easter Sunday and I was extremely blessed this weekend. Pastor Denis Kang's message was very uplifting. I was encouraged after the message.
