No Rae Bang extragavanza

Valentines day for singles usually spells out hongin' out with other singles. After dinner at Andy and Laura Park's(Buca di Beppo's), some of us went singing. The people who went..... JoAnne Lee, Alice the nurse, Andy Lee, Rose Chon, Esther Park, Susan Hwang, Dave "I would like to sing a" Song, and the artist formerly known as NoRaeBang king(me). But it looks like I might have to pass on the torch to Dave "the king of" Song. I hope I did not hog the mike. But it seemed no one wanted to sing in the beginning...... But as we all kind started everyone sang. I think that I am going to pass on my title of No Rae Bang king to Dave "just one more" Song. Don't get me wrong.... I am not saying that "Song Duck Dong" can sing better than me cause he can't. But after his performance of "hero" by Enrique Iglesias, how can one go on without passing the mike. One song that I usually sing with Hoon "lately" by Jodeci, I had to sing alone. It was not the same. Apparently Hoon went to a birthday party yesterday.

Another bachelor for sale

Hoon is the pimp of all pimps. Many ladies have tried to seduce the H-Bomb. They usually cannot handle the man the myth the lagend. Ladies.... if you are up to the challenge, all you have to do is give him some attention. At first all girls get fooled. He will give you the time of day at first but.... It is just a love trap that the H-BOMB sets up. Before you know it girls are madly in love with him. But that is when the H-Bomb detonates. He turns you down like you were out of style. The best way to get his attention is to take him to buffets. I've already told you too much. Good luck ladies.

St. Valentines day Massacre

Aftermath of yesterday's tragedy at my work place is demoralizing. Everyone is depressed. A real shame. I walked into work today and it was empty. Not much love is in the air on this Valentine's day. I am sad on a valentines day for the second time in my life..... Who made this valentines day such a day? All I can do is smoke.....
Accidental Moments

I hung out with Andy Lee, Edwin Ahn, Sam Kwon. I can tell Andy was tired. He told some funny stories about his misadvantures and his accidents. It was funny. I guess we all have these accidental momments. I remember one thing that happened to me that was pretty funny. Remember those days when porn was all over the place on emails. People would send each other porn on email..... Well before I was saved, my friends sent me that stuff all the time. I am glad that people don't forward as much anymore. Remember the Wasssuuuuuup commercials with the black guys from Budweiser? Well Some one forwarded me that commercial. I thought it was funny. SO I forwarded it to everyone. Except I forwarded one of the porn emails by accidents. I sent it to EVERYONE(including a girl I was intersted in at that time). How embarrasing. So People replied to it and I realized what happened. I was so ashamed. If you can imagine the email that I wrote everyone apologizing afterwards...... And the girl that I was intersted in at the time....... Whatever chances I had I blew it. All of a sudden I was the pervert. I felt so ashamed. Now that I think about it, it is kinda funny. I guess that was my Seinfeld momment.

Evil

I've been wanting to Blog about this for a while. Trinity Broadcast Network..... I can't stand this channel. If a non believer see this channel what are they going to think? And that woman Jan Crouch. You know who she is.... She puts Tammy Faye Baker to shame. Jan Crouch and Margaret Cho are two women I cant stand. If I saw them in the street, I woulod be tempted to kick their arse.

Jan Crouch and Miss piggy

My buddy Samuel keener and I were convinced that Jan Crouch was not a real human being. In fact we were convinced that she was actually a muppet.

Top 10 most evil women

DOOMS DAY

This is the end for so many people at my work. It was a day of big layoffs. Many people got laid off at work..... It is really sad for me to see that. Seeing that some people will not be my co-workers any more takes me back to last year when I didn't have a job. Well I guess I should pray for them. Actually when I did not have a job last year, I was in Guam. I want to go back to Guam. Or any tropical Island for that matter......

Remembering Guam

I was in Guam last year about this time... Ahh the memorie come rushing back to me. I loved guam. It was so fun. The funny thing about Guam is that no one really knows that Guam is U.S. Territory. I've been to Hawaii. I like Hawaii too. But really liked Guam. Maybe it is because Guam was less commercialized. May be it was because my parents lived there and everything was free. Maybe it was because I saw wild boars and little piglets that followed in the jungle. I don't know what it was. Guam probably has the cleanest ocean water I have ever seen. It is a place where many people goto for honey moon and weddings. There were many Japanese and Korean tourists there. Unfortunately there were many stores catered to perverted nature of Asian men. Bunch of massage parlors and adult shops. That was kinda sad for me to see.

I finally found what everyone was talking about. I did not realize I had to go all the way to Guam to find it.

Don't i look like an aquathug in a movie. All I need to do is pull out my machine gun.

Why did everything go to bold all of a sudden? Who is messing with my mind!!!!!

Mighty Ducks

Dave Song got some free tickets to the Mighty Ducks Game. I must say, It was much more fun than I expected. The Ducks beat the Calgary Flames 4-3 in overtime! It was very exciting. Many people told me in the past that hockey is fun when you goto the game. I did not believe it. But sure enough, I had a real fun time. Joanne, Henry Park, Dave Song and I were all rooting for the Ducks. Funny thing occured to me while we were watching the game. Who would name their sports franchise the Flames? I was expecting the mascot tobe some gay guy yelling out "I'm a Flame!" "I am on Fire!" Only sick and twisted people such as Canadians do such a thing. But like I said I had fun regardless. Dave Song pointed out one Black hockey fan. Hockey is one of the few sports where white man still dominates. Good for them.

Mullet

Strangely enough I always associate hockey with the mullet. I was expecting to see fools with mullets at the game. I spotted some in the crowd. Why won't the mullet go away. I have strong anti-mullet sentiments. Genrally people think mullet is terrible. Yet the Mullet heads still walk among us. We have a deacon at my church who has a mullet.... If you don't know what a mullet is, see the below pictue.

isn't he great?

Thai Food

Thai food has the funkiest names..... Meekrob, Pad see yew, Pad kee mow, Tom Yum Kung, Po Pia Thot, and etc..... Andy Lee, Joe Chong and I had Thai food. I tried to encourage them to date some girls. It became a weird conversation. The conclusion was that Andy will be more open to it and Joe.... well may be Joe is happy where he is at.

Ladies Andy and Joe are single.........

Andy's seducing eyes (if anyone is interested in getting to know the sexy beast that Andy is let me know)

Cartoons in the Rain

I love rainy days. I was so happy that it rained. I got up this morning at 4:30AM. I went out to get some water and I turned on theTV. The TV was on some Mexican channel. I was watching WB cartoons in spanish. Bugs bunny said "¿Que Pasa. Doc?" It was funny. Before I knew it, it was time to goto Paradise. Since it was raining I probably should have left earlier but nope. I didn't. I loved cartoons. Even until couple of years ago. But it was good to see WB cartoon this morning.(even if it was in EspaƱol) Andy and I was talking about cartoons on the way to LA the other day.

My favorite WB cartoon was "Hare of Seville". It was the one where the overture from Il Barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville) by Gioachino Rossini was playing through out the whole cartoon. Elmer Fudd was chasing after Bugs Bunny and Bugs disguises himself as a Barber. He puts ACME's miracle hair grow on Elmer Fudd's head. It ended up being flower seeds and just as Elmer thought it was hair growing back, it was flowers. So Elmer Chases Bugs again. It is funny how I find WB so fascinating. Basically it is the same message everytime. The Coyote chases the Roadrunner, but never catches him. Daffy Duck never beats Bugs Bunny. Elmer Fudd and Yosmite Sam is always hunting for the Rabit, but never capturing the rabit. Maybe I find it funny beacase it was fortelling the story of my life. Chasing after a dream but never catching up to it. My other theory is that our lives are just cartoons for God. God made me like Elmer Fudd and He is watching me and laughing? Just Kidding?

The Hustler Mel

My friend Mel seems tobe in a weird stage of his life. He has always been a little bit off. If you know what I mean. These days Mel has been shopping for clothes at the Hustler Cafe. The hustler cafe is this terrible place in Hollywood. It is a Cafe and sex shop in one. You can have coffee or your favorite sex toys or porn at the same place. Really terrible. Anyways, Mel bought all these clothes that says "HUSTLER" on it. He has going out clothes and casual wear. Last night when Al and I was hanging out, he stopped by to join us. He was listening to N'Sync and sporting his new Hustler shirt. What a dork. But he was cracking me up. He would hear all these clichƩs from Dr. Phil and Oprah and say them as if they were his original thoughts. What a clown. But gotta say that he was pretty funny last night. Mel is defnitely a funny guy.

Nature Shows to traffic school?
I love the Discovery channel. Al and I were discussing how strange it is that they capture all those crazy shots on those show about predators and their prey. The disturbing thing is that not all of them are wild. Sometimes they set up these animals just to shoot these great shows and documentaries. I kinda felt cheated. Al brought up how some of those shows have those have narrators that have soothing voice. " Watch the subject as it trys to escape the predator..." Flashback...... It brought me back to traffic school. You've seen that Disney Cartoon they show at traffic school haven't you? It has llike thousand Goofies(Disaney Character) and they focus upon one. I am not sure if you know what I am talking about. But the cartoon has that same soothing voice "This is mister Walker(Goofy)". "Mister Walker is off to work" anyways the cartoon tells you some meaningless driving tips and it ends. Pretty weird that I thought about Nature shows and Traffic School today.

Sopranos

Since Quatum Leap, Sopranos is the only TV series I have been comletely hooked on. My Friends, Hoon, Mike Ha, Andy Lee, & Al got me the Sopranos the first season DVD box set.(Thanks y'all) It is da bomb. Due to the fact that it is a HBO series, they have no censorship. It is so real compared to some regular TV shows. Such a good show. I love it. I watched the first episode last night. Since I missed most of the first season, it is perfect that I have a new activity since "Band of Brothers". Woohoo!

Inspiring Sunday

After my experience at the Barney sale, I wanted to wear my suit. So I busted out the Hugo Boss and went to church. Andy said "I knew you were going to dress nicer today!" Am I that predictable? It was good to hear the sermon today. God crumbling down the wall of Jericho. Funny thing happened after church. Me and bunch of guys were eating at the neng-myun place. After I was done, I went out for a smoke. I saw a Mercedes pulling up and it was Eric kim and his dad Dr. Kim. I just froze with the cigarette in my hand. Dr. kim said "it's ok". But I felt bad that I was with bunch of brothers from church and I got caught by Dr. Kim, my former Sunday school teacher. Oh well....

My league basketball game was the worst. We got our ass kicked again. I was very frustrated. The all-star game was on and Kevin Garnett dominated. He looked impressive. Michael Jordan looked old. But what a great basket player he is.

Al came over and told me about his great weekend. He is so alive all of a sudden. I am so happy for him. I would say that it is about time. We actually had a great night of conversation. He really made me feel good. For a change, he gave me the pep talk.(thanks Al)
Saturday

What a long day.... I went to the Huge Burney tent sale at the Santa Monica hanger. It was filled with shallow people buying thing with expensive name brands. Andy and I were in the mist of this hanger full of expensive clothes. They did not have dressing room, so many people were just changing and trying things on. It was ridiculous. I saw these real nice pants but I got punked. It had a regular price tag so I asked what the mark down was. The woman who worked there said "it was accidently put here by mistake" Apparently the pants were from the regular store and it did not belong there. She took it way. I was mad. I got over it. I got over it thanks to all these chicks were changing in front of everyone. No shame. Some girls had nothiong tobe ashamed about. They were fine!!!

After the Barneys fiasco, Andy and I went to J. Paul Getty museum. They had the Dorothea Lange exhibition. It was a treat. Some really great black and white documentary photographs. Saw some impressionist paintings. They had a bunch of Renoir, bunch of Cezanne, one Van Gogh, and etc... They also had this silly exhibition of video art called "passion". Basically they video taped different people's facial expressions with different emotions. It was intersting but nothiong that I would really recommend. I feel that art only happens when one does not really know what they are trying to achieve. They create as they go. But when one is trying to be "artistic", usually it does not really work for me. Thay is what I felt about the the whole video presentation. But all in all, the Getty museum is a treat. I just appreciate the architecture of the place. What a beatiful place. For andy it was 2 days in a row that he went. It was really something else for me to see the magnificent views Getty's offered. We had soondooboo afterwards at K-town. It was good. It was a good day.

Getty museum is funny. They have a tram to get to the museum if you park your car at the museum. If the Parking lot is full, you can park your car 2 miles down and you can take the shuttle. While we were in line to go up, we were talking to this German girl and a dufus who lived in Germany for a while. Basically I was making fun of the Germans and the girl was joining us. Her views were actually really honest. She had no problems making fun of the Germans with me. It was fun until she started cursing up a storm. I braought up the fact that I did not like the current German chancelor(Gerhard Schroeder). She started blasting him with me. It was funny. Europeans are so silly.

After everything I met up with Terek and had couple of beers at Blue Note. Also talked with Al over the phone. I am really happy for him. He sounded really happy. Apparently I gave him an advice and he took it. The amazing part was that my advice that he aplied, worked. Wow how about that. Al deserves to feel good.
