I am going to Cleveland next week......

Yeah Cleveland..... Big Bad AndyL is gonna grey hound his way from Da Burgh to meet me at Da Beautiful state of Ohio! Beatiful ma arse! More like Buttiful. Well We'll see how it is when I get there....
I can't live with DDUk alone.....

So I was reading the bible last night before I went to sleep. I read Luke 4:4.

"And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."

Very famous passage. I remeber when I was a kid I read this and thought, "Of course not. We need Bap, Meat, and Kim chee". But the first time I read this passage was when I was 10 years old. John Hwangbo was my Sunday school teacher. And I was a fob. So He taught it in English so I would just read it in Korean. In Korean Bible, it says that.......
"Man Shall not live by DDUK alone!" dduk is obviously the Korean rice cake. I was really confused by this when I was a kid. Dduk was something that barely ate. Only in the hollidays and what not. Isn't that funny? DDuk? Obviously Korea did not have bread when he bible was translated. But it is so funny! But I guess you can make many things with dduk. dduk bok ki, dduk gook, just dduk. it is good stuff! Ahh the nostalgia!

LA Dodgers......

I've been wearing my Dodgers gear lately. Why because they are in a playoff chase. But thing are not looking too good. I know that they have a chance. But their offense is struggling...

I am wearing this T-shirt today. The exact same one.

I blogged that I met Steve Sax the other day and got his autograph.

Here are some of my Least favorite Dodger moments

Signing Darryl Strawberry

Yikes what disappointment.... He was da bomb when he was a Met. But he comes to Da Dodgers.... I still remember the playoffs when he struck out almost everytime he was at bat. Loser!

Eric Davis

He was a terror with the Reds. Yeah he had a sweet swing. What happened to E Davis's swing? He lost it when he came to da Dodgers.... Yikes. I remember when Eric Davis spit at a fan for criticising him. The fan was a 12 year old boy.

Here they are... 2 losers

They were supposed to take the Dodgers back to the promise land. But nope.

Chan Ho Era
When Chan Ho was rookie, it was like a dream come true. I've always been a Dodger fan. And a Korean playing for the Dodgers!!!!! What a let down. He showed signs of brilliance. But left!!!! His career now? hmmmm. I even had a Chan-Ho shirt.
Here is some things that happened.

Encounter with Chan Ho
My friends and I were drinking at Bluenote in GG when Chan ho was a rookie. We ordered Dak Dori Tang. As we were waiting Chan ho walked in to BluNote! He and his friends order the same thing. We were waiting for 20 minutes. We saw the Dak Dori Tang coming our way and than it went to Chan Ho's table. We got punked!

Chan Ho scissors kicking Tim Belcher(ex-Dodger)

I remember when this happened, it was a big deal. my favorite was when O.C. Register wrote Park delivers a "Martial Arts" Kick. Anyone else would have been just a kick. But the Korean man delivers a Martial Arts kick.

One the worst was when Koreans started to come to Dodger games to support the old Chan Ho. They were cooking Ramyun, Ohjing-Uh, sneaking in Soju... that was all ok with me. But some Korean Fob fans made a HUGE sign that said "Lets Go DoGGers!". Not Dodgers. Doggers...... What a shame to our people.

How about all the talent that Dodgers gave out to other teams.....

Pedro Martinez, Henry Rodriguez, Dave steward... To name a few.

Greatest Baseball Memory of my life!
88 world series. Dodgers made to the World series riding Orel Hershiser all season long. He was a bulldog. Game 1, Da Fevah went to Da Game. Yeah My dad's friend got tickets and That was the only time that I ever went to a baseball game with my dad. I still remember Kirk Gibson hobbling to the plate. Mike Davis walked and If Gibson hit a home run, we win the first game of the World series! Against at the time the most dominant closer, Dennis Eckersly. And what a prick D Eck was.

Next came the greatest Home Run in History! We went nuts. Riding that momentum Dodgers won the Worlds Series.

I compare my life right now to Da Dodgers. Just under achieving. Still I am a Dodger Blue! And Da Dodger's day will come. And so will mine!

Hot Hot Heat

They are Canadians but I still like them... How odd is that?

Al made me this CD. New Hot Hot Heat CD. I am sure that you've heard their song. That Bandages bandages song. But it is actually not a bad album. But the song that is my favorite is I think track Number 4.

Oh no, She's got a secret now,
But no body cares!

How sad is that? That is how I feel these days. Not that nobody cares.... But there is nothing that can be done these days. These days I feel like a clown. Oh how money makes me sad..(lack of) Yeah, I hate the fact that I have no money these days. It is pretty difficult. Being broke ain't no joke. I hate it. sucks. Ever been broke while working. I feel like I have been on a 7 year curse. maybe I broke a mirror 7 years ago. Well, whatever. I hate waking up and the first thing I worry about when I wake up is $. It is a terrible feeling. So many people have asked me what I am still doing at AHT. Well I don't know. I feel assed out.

7th Wheel

SO Friday night I get a call from Dong. He says that they are going to watch the movie, "Once Upon a Time in Mexico". So I asked who was gonna be there. He said all these people. So I said ok. I went and here comes the nightmare..... Oh before I say what happened, Marcel called me and asked me if i wanted to go to LA. I said "no I'm gonna hang with church guys". So I go to the movies. Dat Nigga Sam, Special Ed and Hoon backed out at the last minute. I didn't think too much of it and I went to Cerritos mall. I couldn't believe what happened. Here is what went down. I see Dong and Susan... Than I see Jimmy and Lilian.... I thought "oh Sh*t" It was a double date. I was grumpy and uncomfortable by this point. Than I see Beaux and some girl. I was Da 7th wheel. They all said it's not like that, this, that and the other, But I felt lame. It was bunch of youngsters on double - tripple dates and me. All of a sudden I remembered Marcel asking me to go to LA. I felt like a chump. On a brighter note, the movie was good. I liked it. But I was sad......

Even weekends are starting to suck these days. What the hell. But Henry's home on Sat was cool. Played basketball and we lost. Our team has been losing like bunch of beotches these days. We had 3 point lead with the ball with 30 seconds left. Jeff was cherry picking and we got him Da ball. Jeff is 6 foot 5. and he dunks. But instead of dunking....... He did a reverse and he missed the shot. they hit a three. than we called time out. We got the ball in half court and we did another bone head play and we lost the ball.... back court violation. SO I am yelling "No fouls!" But we foul. we give them free throws. than we get the ball for the last time and Hoon is driving. He weaves his big ass body through the defenders. No one is in front of him.... Hoon keeps rsing to the air for the lay up. I was thinking "yes!" But Hoon missed the lay up. That sucked. We di everything in our power to lose that game.

On a bright note I beat Henry in Fantasy football.

Yeah.... weekends......
