My Curse....
I remember my childhood very vividly. Back home in Korea. Oh the carefree childhood that I miss. I remember so many things that long for so much now. My first memory is crawling to my great grandmother as she had her hands out waiting for me. This might be strange but I remember my great grandmother watching "Bonanza" religiously! She called it Bo-namja. So one of my first memory as a child was watching Bonanza with my great grandmother. She loved Hoss. I remember her saying to me "I want you to become a man like Hoss. He is such a good man".
May be this is why I am fat......
One of my first advice my father gave me was not to date ugly girls. His words were "Girls who are ugly on the outside are ugly in the inside as well. All the years of being ugly will make them bitter and twisted. They will not be able to overcome their hatred for being ugly". I forgot about this little advise until he said it again to my little cousin couple of years ago. To this day I think that I am heavily influenced by father's terrible advice. This is probably why when I see a hottie I get all happy. Yeah..... maybe that is why I am so superficial.
Playoffs
Last night, we had a meeting for the welcoming committee at Da Pad.(Da Fevah live at Da Pad) After the meeting Andy Lee, Joseph Y. Lee, Terek, and I watched the Lakers. Mel joined us later. It was terrible because Terek hates the Lakers and Joseph was asking too many questions. At first it was ok but after a while it was driving me insane. Bad vibes. The Lakers looked like they did not want to win yesterday. They looked awful. I could not believe that Lakers lost in OT to the wolves without Kevin Garnet.
Still I did not lose faith. Lakers will win. But no more watching the game with T and Joe Y. Bad vibes... real bad vibes.
The Ducks on the other hand won an epic battle last night. They went to 5th OT and beat the Dallas Stars. We all screamed out when Petr Sykora scored in the 5th OT.
Good job Ducks.

Lakers got rocked
It was a first Operation Fevah Freedom event last night at the pad. We chilled and watched tha Lakers get rocked. Troy Hudson? The former Clipper great killed the Lakers last night. That was tough to watch. Susan, Mike Ha, Hoon, Andy Lee, Marcel, and Sam Kwon sat their and tried to get excited but they got rocked.
I'm not too worried though.
Some of us watched Yup Gee Juk In Gu Nyu. It got a good reaction. What I hate is the English title of the movie. My Sassy Girl.... Wa~Wa~Wa~Wa~ But I love this movie. You can say whatever you want about it. But it was a good flick.
I thought the High School Uniform Scene was great.
Here was a another great scene.
Oh yeah. I almost forgot. Talking about Minnesota, a Korean brother in the NHL team Minnesota Wild was the hero last night. Richard Park scored the winning goal against Colorado Avalanche. The Wild beat the Avs in the series.
Go brotha go.....

Battle of the Sexes
As lame as this might sound, I was watching the battle of the sexes on MTV last night. For some of you that still live in dark ages(no cable) it is a show on MTV where former members of the MTV's shows "Real World" and "Road Rules" get together and divide among the gender and battle each other. One person from each group gets voted off every battle from each team. I noticed that the men were very systematic when it came voting off the person. They voted off whoever had the lowest scores. Women on the other hand were malicious back stabbing and went with their useless heart. men got along with each other always it seemed. the women in the other hand were bickering and fighting, crying and you name it. Typical.
There is a Korean chick on the show. Her name is Ellen. She really annoys me. She is like all the Koreans outside of their environment. So far I've seen three episodes and she is always crying. But of course she will throw in a Politically correct word here and there. You've seen them. The Koreans who says "I don't date other Koreans". Wonk wonk wonk. They act extra specially white. It is as if they have a split personality. They forget who they are. You know that they do not act like this at home. It is not just what they say but their demeanor and all. You just know they are acting out of their true character. Because it seems that all people in MTV is open minded liberals. So its cool to be just one thing. Please... have an opinion. Stand up for what you believe in. I too consider my self to be a democrat. But not a sell out. This so far, from what I've seen, applys more to girls. Well these girls can kiss me where the sun don't shine. Stupid chicks. May be this is harsh. But I don't really care. Why is it that so many of us Korean Americans have an identity crisis? I don't know but for all of you lame ducks that diss Koreans and the Korean culture.... Who the hell do you think you are? Better yet, what do you think you are?

Easter + Weekend + Liberation
It was Terek's b-day on Good Friday. So we celebrated on Saturday. It was held at Min Sok Chon in Garden Grove. After couple of drinks we headed over to Ding Dong Dang No Rae bang. It was fun. But unfortunately, some of the people who partcipated in the festivities did not make it to the Easter Sunday service.......
Sunday was hectic. Went to church in the morning, had lunch with people from church, came home to watch the Laker game with dad, went back to church for communion service, came back home to get my dad. Drove back to Cerritos to have dinner, Picked up grandma, had dinner at Jang Soo Jang, hung out with my cousin and her husband for about twenty minutes, took my dad and grandma to LAX, and finally came home at 11PM. And now I am liberated for little while. It is nice to be alone. Now that I am Home alone "Let the Party begin".
Lakers Playoff series.
Tuesday for the Laker game, any one is invited to watch the Lakers with me at my house. If anyone is intersted in coming, just come.
Movie club members
