Michelle's high school graduation

(pics curtesy of D Lim)
I've been asking Michelle to take me to prom for a long time... But it never happened.

I am starting to love fob poses...

So Hoon's little sister graduated from high school. Thanks to that I missed Da Lakahs losing to the piss tons. So I was at that massive graduation with flowers and such and I was walking into the stadium.... My high school graduation was so long ago that I hardly remember. If my memory serves me I was pretty happy. But like I said, I don't remember most of it.... So Elder Lee and Mrs. Lee (Hoon's Parents), Hoona Hoona, Mike Ha, David Lim, Da Brat, and others were standing in the stadium, waiting for the announcers to call out the name "Michelle S. Lee" and it hit me again... A funny voice said "Fevah.... You are OLD!" Man... It was 11 years ago that I graudated from high school.... Wa~ Wa~ Wa~ Wa~

I could see that Michelle's parents were so proud....

Hoons Mom, Me, and Da Brat!

I am so happy for all of them, I started to hump Hoon~

Here is lil' Sim.... (Peter's Younger Sister)

She was such the little girl at CPC.... Now a college grad....
Lil' Sim : What the....
Da Fevah : wow~ look at you all growns up!
Lil' Sim : No. Look at you! Where is the rest of you? You are all gone!
Da Fevah : Yeah... I lost some weight.
Lil' Sim : Some! You are not even Jung anymore!
Da Fevah : What?
Lil' Sim : It's kinda sad.... you are all gone.

Not Jung anymore? If I am not Jung.... Than Who am I?
(enter music)
I was da FatMan....

But but now.....
(with a lower and deeper voice)
I am BatMan!

Meet the parents....

Yeah so I am going to meet the parents.... Of Lisa's that is. The trip is coming up. Next week to be exact. I am not nervous to meet them at all.

Why should I be right? Well I am actually looking forward to it. But than again, it could be disasterous.... hahahaha! Well Whatever comes my way, I can face it. I am confident... Well.... I have to be.

I've been noticing something about myself lately.... It hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday when I read Andy's Blog... He said that he equates me with Confidence/Courage.

Hmmm.... I've had lack of confidence lately. Not stupid cockiness (which I always have)... But my confidence in God....

I need to get my confidence back...

Today I will pray to God for confidence in Him and in life.

Hard Times in OC!

Yes Da Fevah has done some hard times....
It was about 5 years ago when this happened. I remember it was right during the NBA finals when Lakers were playing the Indiana Pacers. Bunch of us watched the game at Newport and I got pulled over for a broken tail light.....

So I blogged yesterday about my almost DUI experience.... I had to pay the court and I set up a payment system. But while I was paying da court, I had to go on a business trip and I asked my dad to mail my last check of $150 in for me.... But he didn't and I had a warrant out for my arrest.... I had no idea.

So the cop pulls me over and takes a long time.... I thought "How long can a fix it ticket take..." I was arrested by a half Korean cop(traitor)....

So first they put me in a cell with drunks.... Da drunk tank. That was the worst. Some drunk ass fools making fools of them selves.... Than they transferred me over to Santa Ana county jail.

Looks nice doesn't it? There goes your hard earned tax dollars.... Yup.... It was like Club Med.... More like club Dead... You would be surprised how many people get arrested on one weekend.

So I was in many different rooms and they transfered me back and forth form one holding cell to another. After about 7 transfers they made us shower and change into this....

Except it was a jump suit.... I'll bet you can find the mug shot of me somewhere....

They give you some food. It was one of the first times where I passed up on free food....

All this time I was in there they showed Looney Tunes. I was in misery watching Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny... So right after they made me change to that jump suit.... Al bailed me out... (thanks Al) Yup. The whole ordeal lasted about 18 hrs or so. They made me change again and Hoon and Mel came to pick me up in my car.... I was starving. And I hadn't had a cigarette so I smoked my first puff and felt so free.... And I ate up a Ramyun as soon as I got home... All my friends met up that day to console D. Fevah.... While I was in Jail, I met all walks of life. People who were being transported from a prison to another. Skin heads. Drunks. Drug abusers. Dealers. Wife beaters. You name it. From most naive to most cunning. All in that holding tank just waiting for the misery to pass.

It was embarrassing coming out of there. It was awful yet I felt so thankful... I can't imagine some people spending all their life in an institution such as jail or prison. I almost went mad at 15 hrs.....

may be I should get a tear tattoo below my eye to remind my self like this vato... Or O.C. on my shoulder... Hahahhhaa!

[update]
I was gently rebuked by Lisa....
So upon my rebuke, I just wanted to say that these are not proud moments of my life.... But some of the lowest. And I only share so that people would never want to go to such places as club dead....

Right now.. I hang my head in shame....

DUI....
I heard that David Hasselhoff got a DUI.....

I guess KITT couldn't save him this time....

This takes me back to long long ago.... When I was just a fresh college graduate. Yup. I was buck wild.
I was coming back from Velfare and my car flipped over. I had alcohol in my system....

Alex was with me and we were on the 5 freeway. Alex was the original Metrosexual. He was gonna be a model. But never made it. hahahahah! But everyone called him Gay Alex. So I am driving and two rice rockets were racing. one of the cars swerved into my lane and b/t a semi and I had to turn fast or else I would have killed the guy in the rice rocket.

So my car flipped and it was a mess. My arm was jacked up from road burns and what have you and I was feeling diorieted.

I remember my car fliping and I blacked out for a second. What woke me up was the sparks hitting my face. by that time I was hoping the car would stop from this long skid. The car stops and I look up to migh right(since my car is flipped to the driver side) and I see Alex dangling on the seat.
Da Fevah : Hey Alex you alright.....
Gay Alex : yeah~ I think so~
Da Fevah : Open the door and get out.....
He trys to open the door and he can't
Gay Alex : It won't open~
Da Fevah : Open it you fag, Cars could come and hit us....
Gay Alex : It won't open~
Da Fevah : Unlock the door..
Gay Alex : Oh~
Da Fevah : You Fag!

SO to make the long story short, because I had alcohol in my system they wanted to throw the book at me. But I was under the legal limit. Both in breath and in blood test. I saved the rice rocket drivers life! I had witnesses that pulled over and told the cops the story. But they did not buy it. But since I was wounded I just went to the hopital.... Not Jail. But They still charged me and I had to get a lawyer and all that jazz.... My life has gone down south since then. Financially and morally. I did not get a DUI. But a wet recklace. So let that be a lesson to all that drive with drinking even a little bit. Don't do it. Oh yeah I eventually even went to jail because of all this shananagan. But that is for the next blog....

Stay tuned....

Exhausted.....

Yeah... I am pretty tired this morning. But you know that won't stop me from bloggin' hahaha. Went to Jason "Temper" Lee and Connie Kim's wedding on Sat. Saw a bunch of my old CSUF goons there. Haven't seen some of them niggas and niggettes in a long time. Two of my closest friends were grooms men (Hoon and Paul) so it was good to see them in a tux. They had great reception food. They got sushi men to make food for them and it was needless to say, good. Did not go to after party to Le Prive due to my oath that I took. I was gonna pick up Hoon from the drunken stupor, but I am not sure if he wanted to be picked up. Apparently they were having a "mini skirt" contest at Le Prive. Yeah I did not go. Thank God.

Sunday was cool. My grandmother became a "Gwun Sa Nim"(Deaconess) at her church. In Many Korean Churches, that is the highest position a woman can have in a church. Some churches are different. They have elders and pastors positions for the ladies. I shall say this, Though I believe that women can do anything as good if not better then men, I must say that growing up at CPC, and kind being old school, I am not sure that I would attend a church led by a woman. Anyways, that is a whole another blog. So my grandmother was up there with a group of old ladies and they all became a deaconess. It was great. It was a group of old ladies who has served at their church for a long time. (a reward for being old?) The sad thing was the message. The pastor gave a message of looking to heaven before they died.... The whole message it seemed was "Here is a little reward while you are still here on earth. But live well in the Lord cause your reward is in heaven."

Listening to the sermon in Korean, I realized something that I knew and heard before... The message was slow and simple. As if the audience were kids. Yes as we get older and older, and we reach a certain age, people become kids again. kinda helpless and brittle. Instead of looking to the future, the elderly look forward to heaven. Well we all should look forward to heaven. But many of just simply forget don't we....

It was a bitter sweet moment. Bitter that it is inevitable that my grandmother is not gonna be with us that much longer.(I guess I never know) But sweet how she was so happy. She was being congratulated by her friends and others. Grandmother hugging each other and laughing together. It was cute.

But it was an exhausting weekend in many different ways. But that I'll keep for myself.

Here is a little game for ya.
(fill in the blanks)

Da Fevah is (_ _ _ _)
example "the coolest guy ever!"
