Football
The otherday, I was at a restaurant with Leece along with bunch of her church friends.
One of the guys Joon asked me about fantasy football. All of a sudden, our waiter got all excited and wanted to know who was in my team... That was all good but he kept on with asking about my team over and over again. It is an addiction I am telling you.
Even at work sometimes I goto my yahoo fantasy site and look at it for no reason... Yup. Fantasy Football is ingenious. All the dudes that never made it out of high school sports. Or people who didn't even have the guts to play any form of sports. They could all live vicariously through fantasy sports. No longer do many people care much about their teams... They care about their fantasy teams... Especially in Football..
I miss playing football. Something about the shoulder pads. Group of guys that you practiced with. Coach yelling out drills. That one hit that you never forget. Getting drilled by some dude. The excitement of a touchdown. Or shutting down a running back. Stuffing the hole. Enjoying the victory. Disappointment of a loss.
I still remember the last time I put on my pads. I remember taking them off thinking, wow... This is it. Just like overwhelming majority of high school kids who played high school football, my career ended there. I remember hugging other guys on the team after losing in the CIF playoff game against Servite. I remember all the excitement I felt about playing in college..... But I also remember the day that I realized that I was never gonna play football again. Yeah... It was a tough pill to swallow if you ask me. But I guess I have fantasy football... Haha!
Aparently Rookie AKA eyebeeede called me a pansy for not playing in Turkey Bowl... Hahahha! I am a pansy!

Busy weekend is over and all the craze and madness has calmed...
Sophia and Steve got married. They are friends of Lisa's and they are now in Hawaii... Good for them!
This morning I found a letter on my desk from Virginie...

I was sharing with her about the gospel. It gave a warm fuzzy feeling when I read that she is hopeful that one day she might have a "revelation" too. I was sharing with Virginie that the Gospel is a reconization, but it comes from revelation.

I pray that Virginie will come to understand the saving grace one day.

Lisa looked beautiful this weekend at the wedding. She was a Bride's maid. She will probabaly post pix on her website. You can see for yourself how hot she was!
