I did 6 piles of Laundry yesterday. Than I made an exception and went to LA on a weeknight. I was at Myagi's on Karaoke night. Why was I there? One of my old friends Alain Duque was in town from South Carolina. I worked with him at Sears. He was originally from NY. Moved here for a while and now he is in South Carolina. We met at the Standard and migrated to Myagi's. It was fun. We had couple of drinks and I sang a song in front of all these strangers. As I was singing and seeing all these strangers around, I thought to myself, "Don't these fools have jobs?" I can't belive that so many people were just hangin' on Sunset, on a weeknight. That is wacked. I guess I was there too so I can't say much. It is kinda different when you sing in front of all these people vs. singing at a No Rae Bang. I sang my usual.
Creep By Radiohead.
It started and people were just whatever. When I hit the climax of the song people started cheering. It is a great feeling
when people start cheering and yelling. Especially when they are strangers. Anyways, I had fun. As I was driving home I decided to drive through Santa Monica. I had to drop Alain off. He was staying in a hotel near there. We saw hookers, pimps, transvestites, drug dealers and more. As I was driving through, I thanked God that I was not born into that situation. It is true what they say. Freaks come out at night.
My statement of the day:
I am not capable of being a Christian, I just am.
