So today bunch of my new co-workers went to Hawaii! Maui to be exact. All the top producers get to go to Hawaii on a Sales summit. Another new guy said to me, "We will go next year!" I said "Yeah!" Than he said "after we make enough money to buy a Porsche" At first I gave him a blank look. Than I said "I suppose"...
Than we got into what my purpose for working here was. I said to make a living. He kept on emphasizing how important money was to him. That moment I realized that I've been broke so long, I did not really care... I should. But I do not want to be a money hungry fool. I realize that I haven't been walking da path as I should. I have been thinking about nuthin but my job. I need accountability. I need to realize that I am at Countrywide so that I can glorify God. No matter how much money I make, I need to keep my focus on Da Lord! Cause as they say, Money comes and goes... Right? Well I hope God throws me some dough my way soon...
Money. I wanna be money! Money in da eyes of Da Lord. When I die, it would just make my day if God said to me "Fevah! You were money."
