Last night was intersting. I hung out with my relatives and one of my cousins took me out to Myung Dong. It was cool. I took some pics so I will post when I can. In this land filled with koreans I actually saw some english speaking Koreans. My cousins who lived in Sheffield, England. They speak in that British accent. We talked all night mixing Korean and English. But it was really different. Oh yeah I saw another Korean Movie, Tae Guk Gi.
It was also a good movie. I think they spent alot of money on this film. It was the first real Korean movie about the war b/t North and South Korea. Jang Dong Gun was pretty awesome. He was also in Chingu. Though movie was not as realistic as Silmido, nevertheless it was a good movie. Tonight I am meeting up with the only friend I have from elementary school here in Korea. He is my oldest friend that I have. Tomorow I will be going to my Grandfather's burial place back in my father's Go Hyang. Which means his home town. Haven't been there in a while.
It is good to hang with da fam. I am now in such apreciation of them. It makes me happy to talk with my kin folks. My grand mother is still in good heath. My grand father is still half the man that he used to be since his stroke. I am still sticking with my diet. I tell ya it's hard. I am finding alot about myself in this diet. I truly am. I love eating..... I must love in moderation. Today I had Mae-Un Tang at lunch time. It was good. But no dinnah fo da Fevah.... It sad cause food is such a big part of our daily activity. Everyone asks me what I do now that I quit dinner and drinking. I tell them that lately I've been keeping busy with a certain girl. Hahaha. Don't think that I don't know that this makes you sick dsong. I miss you all. have a good day, evening, whatever floats your boat.
