I went to Ralphs today and people were on strike.

So I went to alberetsons and they too were on strike.

I was running out of water so I just walked in. The workers were asking me to shop somewhere else. I just said "I need water" and walked in. Got my water. As I was walking out I asked them what they were really striking about. You see I just read that they were going on strike. I read nothing about why. Apparently they don't want anything. They just wanted to keep what they had. They were taking away their benefits and pension. I felt kinda bad. So I asked people about people's need to shop for food. they suggested to go to Food 4 Less amd other stores. I told them that I will try. As I was walking away, I thought about my situation. Is our economy doomed? We are several paychecks behind. 8 to be exact. And people are having a tough time getting by. This is a tragedy unfolding right infront of our eyes. The system failing as we speak. In order for you to see a doctor, one needs benefits. They charge so high at the hospitals, that if a guy wothout benefits get hurt or in an accident, it becomes very hard. The system that we have is really for those with lots of money. But if one was working at a supermarket getting paid God knows what, and they don't get medical, they can really get themselves in some finacial madness. Yes, life even more of a be-otch for the have nots. We should think about these things. I deeply regret buying water from Albertson's tonight. I deeply feel for those who are holding up their picket signs tonight. But what can you do......

Lord help us in these times of finacial difficulties.
