So I want to get an opinion... Not that it really matters because..... Some person already ruined my game. The question is.... Is it wrong for me to date Catholics? here is what happened. After work I went to the bucks and I witnessed a pretty crazy thing. It was a Korean AHjumMah with a Mega Phone, yelling "Breive in Jejus!" "God Ruvs you!" "God want to sabe you". As I was watching this, a beatiful young women sitting across from me said, "Now that is a woman with conviction". She was so pretty. Thought to myself "CHA-CHING". Beautiful and a Christian. So of course I had strike up a conversation.
Tip #1 for all you losers who don't know how to strike a conversation. You have to say something that is funny and related to what is going on. Basically make the girl laugh or smile but not stupidlike humor that is not related to what is going on, because that can lead to awkward momments.(depends on the girl) Anyway if you acomplish that...... BOOM, your in contention for the title belt.
Tip #2
Keep the conversation going but change it to a coversation with more depth. Basically make her see that you are not just a clown but also you can be deeper and you have a brain. (If this gets achieved, your in the money)
Tip #3
Talk about a subject that she brings up. (this could be a little harder since you might not know what she is talking about, but it can lead to a great thing) If you don't know what she is talking about just be honest and say that you don't know. Also mention that you are intersted in finding out what she knows about it. Then the "act like" your intersted in what she has to say and BAM, now you are a great listener.. (REMEMBER! whitty commenets and funny lines once a while to keep the positive thing going is a necesity)
That is enough tips for all of you clowns.
So I aplied my own formula and I cracked couple of jokes. When the momment was right, I said "Are you a Christian?" She said she was Catholic. But she seemed more devout than most catholics I've met. So the conversation turned into a theological discussion. I said, "Some of the gretest Christian minds came from the Catholic Church". She was really excited when I said that.(I am such a sneaky bastard) We talked about St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine. It was going great.
All of a sudden I thought to myself, "what am I doing?" But than again I said "Catholics are Christians." Then I proceded with the conversation. I think I was about to go in for the kill. But all of a sudden..... Wa~ Wa~ Wa~ Wa~
Obviously God did not want this to happen..... Errrr. Here is what happened.
remember couple of blogs ago when I blogged about the girl whop got engaged and I was broken hearted... Well she shows up to the Bucks and sits down. Than she started talking about this that and the other... I was so pissed off. I was hoping she would leave. I gave her all the hints to leave. Instead the Catholic princess left. ARRRRRRGGGHHHH! I said to my friend "Gi jee Bae... How come you don't have any noon-chi!" I said "I think you exist to ruin my life!" She thought I was being mean and got mad at first but realized what she has done. I mean think about it.... hasn't she done enough damage in my life! Does she have to ruin my game with other girls too?
I guess it wasn't meant to be between the Catholic princess and I.
Here is to Thomas Aquinas and Augustine who almost helped me hook up...
